The National Science and Engineering Competition for high school students in Southern Vietnam officially ended on March 19th. Taking place from the 16th to the 19th of March 2019 with 229 projects and 409 students from 34 teams, the competition had appealed huge attention and participation of delegates, teachers and students.

In the framework of the competition, the organization board also held activities for the teams to interact with each other and introduce themselves as well as their local areas to others. In gala night on March 18th, the organizers gave rewards belonging to organizations and individuals to the teams and celebrated music performances.

Judges of the competition chose and awarded 13 first prizes, 25 second prizes, 35 third prizes and 49 fourth prizes. The teams whose projects won the first prize will participate in an English speaking contest in order to select the teams joining Intel ISEF 2019 in the USA.
The positive and thoughtful participation of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) in the event activities has been highly valued by steering committee and organizers. Ministry of Education and Training decided to give the certificate to Ton Duc Thang University.
