Scientific seminar on nano research

Department for Management of Science and Technology Development (DEMASTED), Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) is organizing a periodical seminar on science, providing the following main contents:

  • Research on manufacturing biological sensors on polypyrrole base by electrochemical method, applied for medical diagnosis;
  • Effects of mutations on the configuration of lytic polysaccharide monooxygenase AA9 enzyme;
  • Identification of heat formation by using a complete basis set method (CCSD(T)/CBS).

Speakers: The results will be presented by experts from the department of Climate Change and Renewable Energy, University of Natural Resources and Environment of HCMC; Laboratory of theoretical and computational biophysics (TCB) of TDTU; Computational Chemistry Research Group of TDTU (ComChem);

Information about the speakers: 

  • Dr. Le Huu Quynh Anh: Head of the department of Climate Change and Renewable Energy, HCMC University of Natural Resources and Environment. Dr. Quynh Anh has made some outstanding publications in top journals such as Analytica Chimica Acta (Impact factor: 5.1), Talanta (Impact factor: 3.6), and Electroanalysis (Impact factor 2.8). The main directions of research of Dr. Quynh Anh are biological sensors, denaturing and applying nano materials in sensor manufacturing and environmental treatment. 
  • Dr. Ngo Son Tung: Assistant professor at TDTU, Head of TCB laboratory. Dr. Tung is the author of nearly 30 ISI articles (h-index 11), with a number of outstanding publications in top sprcialized journals such as Coordination Chemistry Reviews (Impact factor: 14.5), Journal of Physical Chemistry B (Impact factor: 3.2), and the Journal of Chemical Information and Modeling (Impact factor: 4.2).
  • Dr. Nguyen Minh Tam: Assistant Professor at TDTU, member of ComChem Research Group. Dr. Tam is the author of nearly 40 ISI (h-index 13) articles, many of which are featured in the journals: Chemistry – A European Journal (Impact factor 5.2), Journal of Physical Chemistry C (Impact factor 4.5). ), and Scientific Report (Impact factor 4.2).
