“Scientific Measurement and University Ranking” workshop
To continue to create a forum for exchanging the evaluation methods of scientific research and university ranking, which are important for the development of international standard universities; Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) will organize a workshop entitled Scientific Measurement and University Ranking with the participation of well-known experts in the field of scientific research and university management.
The main contents of the workshop include: introduction of evaluation method of scientific research to scientists, universities and countries; evaluating the university ranking lists in the world, thereby finding a consensus index for the university ranking problem in Vietnam.
The workshop will be led by Prof. Nguyen Van Tuan, Professor of University of New South Wales and University of Technology Sydney, Senior Scientific Advisor of TDTU. He is a member of the Science Council of University of Technology Sydney as well as a member of many Councils for professor title for universities in the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Norway, Sweden, Thailand, the United States and Vietnam.
