Workshop on heritage tourism

Heritage tourism has become an important type of tourism in Vietnam. For the purpose of exchanging knowledge and experience about heritage research and sharing ideas that underpin the international collaborative researches on this subject, the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) in collaboration with Nottingham Trent University (UK) are organizing a workshop entitled "Prison heritage at Con Dao and beyond".

This workshop will be attended by six speakers from Nottingham Trent University, Liverpool University, Canterbury Christ Church University (UK) and TDTU (Vietnam). Speakers will present and discuss the general context of heritage tourism in the world and in Vietnam as well as the preliminary study results on heritage tourism at Con Dao Prison after a field trip from 3rd to 5th of September, 2018.

Time: September 6th, 2018 (Thursday), from 13:30 to 17:30;

Location: Room B308, TDTU; 19 Nguyen Huu Tho, Tan Phong Ward, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City.
