Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) signed a cooperation agreement with  Procter & Gamble Indochina Limited Company

On the morning of December 26, 2018, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) and Procter & Gamble Indochina Limited Company signed a cooperation agreement.

Under this Agreement, TDTU cooperates with P&G Ben Cat Plant to run seminars organized by senior leaders of P&G Group in the region and Vietnam to develop professional skills in Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry, future career orientation for TDTU students. TDTU is among a few educational institutions with which P&G has a strategic partnership; training programs and professional internships between the two parties will bring considerable benefits to TDTUstudents.

P&G Ben Cat Plant is in the chain of 120 factories of P&G globally, and is one of the two factories located in Vietnam. Although it has just been established for 8 years, thanks to effective management policies, Ben Cat Plant's productivity has surpassed in comparison with that in Poland, Germany and Russia which have been established for decades by P&G Group. P&G makes a commitment to recruit TDTU students to work as full-time employees before they obtain a diploma if they meet the requirements after the internship program. Students who have served their internship (2-3 months) at P&G will be given more priority to recruit than direct candidates.

Also in the meeting, Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao, HR Manager of P&G Ben Cat Plant expressed her considerable impression when experiencing the educational environment of TDTU. She stated that students’discipline and politeness are distinctive characteristics of TDTU. This is the same culture that P&G has always built and nourished for their current staff.
