Ton Duc Thang University Youth Union achieved excellent achievements in the Youth Union’s activities and Ho Chi Minh City Youth Movement

On the morning of July 3, 2018, at the Conference of Youth Union and the Youth Movement at university-college-high school level, 2017-2018 academic school year organized by Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) Youth Union, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) was honored to receive the Excellent Emulation Flag in the Youth Union’s activities and HCMC Youth Movement. On this occasion, Mr. Pham Nhat Phuong, Secretary of TDTU Youth Union, was also rewarded by the Central Committee of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union for being a permanent member of the Youth Union with excellent achievements in the university’s activities.

After 20 years of establishment (since 1998), TDTU Youth Union is one of the strongest Youth Unions in HCMC with the sub-unions in 16 faculties, 01 vocational training college, 02 Union campuses, 04 affiliated Union campuses and nearly 15,000 union members.

In the school sector, TDTU Youth Union was put by HCMC Youth Union to compete with other school Youth Union at district-level with more than 13,000 union members (there are 09 units in HCMC). Today's achievements are not only the efforts of generations of Youth Union members and youths in the past 20 years, but also the motivation for the successive generations to strive to build a stronger organization; accompanying TDTU students to cultivate expertise, build the spirit of citizens, for the community; in order to be able to contribute creatively, pioneer, and volunteer for the development of the University as well as the construction and defense of the country.
