Receiving an invitation from the Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sports of the Kingdom of Cambodia, the representative delegation of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) headed by the President held a working visit with the Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sports of the Kingdom of Cambodia from 04 to 06 June 2018.

Giving a welcome speech to the delegation, Mr. Lav Chhiv Eav, the Deputy Minister of Education, Youth and Sports of the Kingdom of Cambodia expressed his happiness because TDTU took great care of promoting educational cooperation among the two countries and supporting the development of Cambodian education; specifically creating more opportunities for research and study for Cambodian officials and students at TDTU.

Responding to the warm welcome from the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Kingdom of Cambodia, Professor Le Vinh Danh stated that TDTU’s objectives of  providing scholarships from its internal source were not only promoting more opportunities for Cambodian youth to approach the advanced knowledge and modern academic learning environment at TDTU, but also enhancing the good relationship between Vietnam and Cambodia through specific educational cooperation between TDTU and Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Kingdom of Cambodia in the near future.

On this occasion, the delegation of TDTU held a working visit to the leaders of Department of Education, Youth and Sports; and the biggest high schools in Phnom Penh, Kampong Cham Province and Siem Reap Province in pursuit of introducing the scholarship policies, unique academic programs of TDTU and separated scholarship policies for Cambodian students who intend to study abroad at TDTU from the intake 2018-2019.
