The International Conference on Tourism and Marine Tourism: TMT 2017

The International Conference on Tourism and Marine Tourism (TMT 2017) was officially opened at Ton Duc Thang University in the morning of 01st August 2017. The conference took place on the 1st and 2nd of August and attracted the participation of many scientists, experts, and researchers from England, Austria, the United States, Canada, Mongolia, Japan, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam.

TMT 2017 provided a forum for discussion about socio-economic impacts of tourism in general and marine tourism in particular among researchers, practitioners, tourism businesses from Vietnam and other countries. The conference included presentations on the following subjects:  marine tourism model development, tourists’ experiences, encouraged education and environmental protection, the impacts of tourism development on socio-economics and life of local residents, the need of community to develop sustainable tourism. All accepted papers are published in the TMT 2017 Proceedings with ISBN: 978-0-9945391-0-6 of Australia ISBN Agency, which is printed and published by Ton Duc Thang University.

With the aim of becoming an international research university, TDTU is determined to promote international cooperation in education and science and technology to improve the quality of teaching, research and international publications.
