Colorcon opened the Technical Assistance Center at Ton Duc Thang University

On August 29th, 2007, Colorcon Group [USA] officially  held the inauguration ceremony and launched the Technical Assistance Center at Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) in accordance with the agreement signed on 24/05/2017 between two organizations. With a total investment budget of nearly VND4.5 billion, the Colorcon Technical Assistance Center will create the personnel training environment for the pharmaceutical industry in Vietnam and the Southeast Asia region on the development of formulations for capsules, film-coated and sugar-coated tablets  ... according to international standards. For TDTU students, this is a practical bridge for students to approach drug production techniques, and film coating technology; enhances the capacity to practice advanced pharmaceutical technology. Mr. Huynh Tri Nha, Director of Colorcon Vietnam said, "The new laboratory in Vietnam is located at Ton Duc Thang University, helping Colorcon expand its technical support directly to its customers in the pharmaceutical industry and relevant industries to complete the projects faster and make it easier to access to advanced techniques.

The laboratory at TDTU is the 21st laboratory in the world and the only laboratory of the corporation in Vietnam, demonstrating TDTU's efforts in advancing towards modernization and internationalization, helping students improve the knowledge and behavior of modern pharmacists. Professor. Nguyen Minh Duc, Dean of the Pharmacy Faculty of TDTU, said: "Colorcon's Technical Assistance Center is a good symbol for the cooperation between the University and the pharmaceutical industry in training and research; It gives students the knowledge and professional skills in the study of solid medicines for the sake of people’s well-being."
